Kofi Annan to Ring Peace Bell
Each year the International Day of Peace is launched at the United Nations with a minute of silence and the ringing of the Peace Bell. At UN headquarters in New York, the Secretary-General rings the Peace Bell with the UN Messengers for Peace.
