UNESCO Prize for Peace Education

The Prize shall be awarded by the Director-General at an official ceremony held for the purpose in Paris on 21 September, on the occasion of the International Day of Peace. Sri-Lankan judge Christopher Gregory Weeramantry will be awarded the $40,000 UNESCO Prize for Peace Education.
